Thang-Ta Federation of India is inviting applications from the State of Manipur, Tripura and Assam for the post of Coach of Thang-Ta Martial Art on purely Temporary basis under the administrative authority of Khelo India Scheme under the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Govt. of India.

Thang-Ta Coaches for the State of Manipur, Assam and Tripura

1. NOS. OF THANG-TA COACHES:

(i) Manipur: One Male & One Female

(ii) Assam: One Male & One Female

(iii) Tripura: One Male & One Female

2. QUALIFICATIONS:

(i) Minimum 10th passed under the Govt. recognized Board/Council of the states.

(ii) At least one year Diploma in Thang-Ta Martial Art from the Huyen Langlon Thang-Ta Academy, Yumnam Huidrom, Imphal West, Manipur.

(iii) Represented India in Thang-Ta Championship at International level with certificate, Certificate in Coaching from the Thang-Ta Federation or

(iv) A medal winner 1st, 2nd or 3rd position in National level with certificate, certificate in Coaching/Training from the Thang-Ta Federation of India.

4. AGE:

Below 45 preferably (5 years will be relaxed in the case of OBC/ST/SC).

4. DUTY HOURS:

6 days in a week both morning and evening sessions including involvement in day to day administrative duties or any other works assigned from time to time.

5. ACADEMIES & CENTERS FOR THE EMPLOYMENT OF THE COACHES:

(i) Manipur: Huyel Langlon Thang-Ta Association, Manipur, Yumnam Huidrom Makha Leikai, Imphal West, P.O. Wangoi, Pin: 795009, Manipur.Huyel Langlon Thang-Ta Association, Manipur, Yumnam Huidrom Makha Leikai, Imphal West, P.O. Wangoi, Pin: 795009, Manipur.

(ii) Assam: All Assam Meetei Huyel Langlon Thang-Ta Association, Kamranga, Cachar – 788107.

(iii) Tripura: All Tripura Thang-Ta Association, Montala, Dharmanagar, North Tripura – 799250.

6. GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS:

(i) The engagement would be on purely on contractual basis for a period of 12 months initially, subject to the satisfactory performance, at the sole discretion of this Federation. Any claim for absorption at the regular position in the Federation will not be entertained at any point of time. The period of contractual basis will be extended with the acknowledgement of the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Govt. of India.

(ii) The Coaches shall be eligible of 08 days of casual leave in a calendar year. This leave will not be carried forward in case the engagement period is extended by this institute. Also no payment in lieu of unutilized leave will be paid by this Federation at the time of expiry of contract.

(iii) The Federation may terminate the services of the Coaches in case he/she is unable to perform his/her duty to the satisfaction in connection with the final reports submitted by the respective State Thang-Ta Association regarding.

(iv) The Federation shall also reserve the right to terminate the services of the Coaches at any time without giving any notice and also without assigning any reason in connection with the final reports submitted by the respective State Thang-Ta Association regarding.

(v) No TA/DA shall be admissible to the Coaches.

(vi) Any resultant dispute shall be settled within the jurisdiction of the Federation.

(vii) Coaches have to follow the rules and regulations of the Federation during their services as temporary coach.

8. INTERVIEW:

The interview will be held on 25th August 2019 at the Conference Hall of the Youth Hostel, Khuman Lampak, Imphal, Manipur from 8.00 A.M. to 2.00 P.M. sharp. All the original certificates mentioned must be produced during the interview.
